On the morning of April 6, 2022, VNUF2 had a meeting with the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology.
Reporting on scientific research activities of the Branch over the past time, the university representative said that scientific research activities have attracted the attention of lecturers, students, scientific research of the Branch has had a positive change, the number of works and articles published in domestic and foreign journals has increased compared with previous years. Innovative start-up activities among students have changed such as: successfully organized the innovation start-up competition for the students at the branch level for the academic year 2020-2021; supporting 5 groups of students to participate in the provincial innovation start-up competition... However, the level of participation in topics between the Branch and the province is still quite modest.
In order to promote Science & Technology activities in the coming time, the Branch proposed that departments, agencies and branches in the province create favorable conditions for accessing and participating in the implementation of a number of topics and projects in the province, especially projects in the fields of agriculture, forestry and processing of forest products. Support the Branch's staff and lecturers to participate in training and fostering courses to improve their scientific research and innovation start-up skills. Join the provincial scientific council, consult local research orders.
Concluding the meeting, Director of Department of Science and Technology Lai The Thong acknowledged the recommendations of the Branch and affirmed that he would be willing to cooperate and support the Branch to participate in scientific research activities of the province and innovation start-up activities. At the same time, it is suggested that in the coming time, the Branch needs to have a specific plan so that the Department can promptly coordinate and support the Branch to build and form an innovation start-up space.
