VNUF2 Welcome international students to Vietnam to study and do scientific research

In the bustling and joyful atmosphere of the first days of the new year - Giap Thin Spring 2024, February 19, 2024, VNUF2 is pleased to welcome international students to study and research under the student exchange program between Viet Nam National University of Forestry at Dongnai (VNUF2) and University of Montana (UM).

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Mai Hai Chau - Deputy Director affirmed: The student exchange program is an activity that not only contributes to strengthening international cooperation between VNUF2 and UM in particular and universities around the world in general, but also creates an international working environment; Contribute many initiatives and solutions in professional work; At the same time, it helps improve English skills for staff, lecturers and students. Through that, Doctor. Mai Hai Chau welcomes and appreciates the learning and research spirit of student Raegan Michele Osentowski and requests that officials, labor and units and organizations under the Branch coordinate and create conditions for students to complete their training program successfully while studying at the branch.

Previously, VNUF2 and UM agreed on the training program for UM students studying at VNUF2 including 13 semester credits on the following contents: Literature about the Vietnam-American War; Community service activities such as conversations with lecturers and students, participating in volunteer activities; Independent research and field trips in the field of hydrology/river basin management at Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve and Cat Tien National Park. After completing the program, students will be issued a transcript and course completion certificate.


 
In recent years, in addition to training and scientific research, international cooperation is one of the contents that the Branch has focused on. Every year, depending on the time, the School will receive international volunteers or student groups from international universities to visit and work.
