On June 26th, 2024, according to the invitation from the representative of the University of Montana, USA (UM), the program discussed the partnership between VNUF2 and USA took place online, to increase coordination, and exchange of information and tighten the cooperative relationship between the two units.
In her opening speech, Mrs. Marja Unkuri-Chaudhry, Associate Director of the Global Engagement Office, and director of the Education Abroad and Parnerships expressed her joy and acknowledged the cooperation results in the two schools achieved in 2019- 2024. On that basis, Mrs. Marja expressed her desire to continue with VNUF2 to extend the memorandum of understanding and promote cooperation programs for the period 2024- 2029.
Also at the meeting, Mrs. Marja gave objective comments about the student exchange program that just ended, according to which student Raegan Michele Osentowski came to Vietnam and studied at VNUF2 for the second semester of the 2023-2024 school year. The program was implemented successfully, and the two universities also shared frankly to learn lessons after ending.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha - Deputy Director in charge of the Dong Nai campus expressed his joy when the two units actively promoted exchange and cooperation based on evaluating the results achieved in the cooperation agreements between the two units from 2019 to the present and propose more appropriate cooperation contents in the period 2024-2029 for the fields of interest to both sides.
