From October 26th -27th , 2024, at Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve, students of Vietnam National University of Forestry in Dong Nai province actively participated in the Dong Nai Biosphere Youth Forum with the theme "Journey to connect nature".
This is an opportunity for VNUF2 students to exchange and learn experiences with other Clubs in the network of Biosphere Clubs of Dong Nai province.
Through the forum, VNUF2 students can share and discuss initiatives to improve the effectiveness of conservation work and build the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve into a model of sustainable development for the province, the country, and the world. Feasible ideas and initiatives will be prioritized for implementation in 2025.
Besides, you can also participate in the "Green Forest Challenge" journey: Identifying some native plant species and rare medicinal herbs; identifying traces of forest animals; Determining direction when lost, giving first aid when bitten by a snake, distinguishing edible leaves and forest fruits, how to make fire, find water sources, create signals for rescue, how to prepare food, how to set up a tent, escape skills, bandage wounds, camouflage in the forest,... and participate in games to strengthen the connection to nature and experience bonding with people around.
