From October 10-15, 2024, the University of Forestry (VNUF) and Vietnam National University of Forestry at Dong Nai (VNUF2) attended the Cooperation Conference between China and South Asian countries and Southeast Asia on Cooperation in Education on Forestry Products (China-South Asia and Southeast Asia Forestry Education Collaboration Symposium in Forest Products Education) was held at Southwest Forestry University, China.
On the working group's side, there was an Associate Professor. Dr. Pham Minh Toai - Vice Rector, Associate Professor. Dr. Ly Tuan Truong - Director of the Institute of Wood and Furniture Industry, Associate Professor. Dr. Vu Manh Tuong - Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Architecture, PhD. Nguyen Thi Thuan - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Architecture and VNUF lecturers were invited to attend as representatives of Vietnam.
Associate Professor. Dr. Vu Manh Tuong - Dean of the Faculty of Industry and Architecture presented a presentation on "Improving Superhydrophobicity and Color Fastness of Wood with ZnO Coating" at the conference.
Leading experts and scientists in the Forestry and Wood Technology field from 17 Universities in 15 participating countries attended the conference. Leaders and representatives of teachers and students of the Institute of Chemical and Materials Engineering of Southwest China Forestry University participated in this discussion.
