The 2024 Admissions and Employment Fair organized by VNUF2 took placed on March 24, 2024.
The program has the participation of an Associate Professor, Ph.D. Pham Minh Toai - Vice Rector of Forestry University; Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha - Deputy Director in charge of VNUF2; Mr. Ho Nhu Duyen, Deputy Director of the Southern Center for Education and Training Development; leaders of high schools/ continuing education centers in Trang Bom district, Dong Nai province; Representatives of employers, sponsors, press and media agencies. Along with that were several officials, lecturers, parents, and more than 3,000 pupils and students from many high schools/ continuing education centers at Dong Nai.
These is the first event held at VNUF2. The Organizing Committee arranged nearly 30 consulting booths from more than 20 businesses and specialized faculties of the school to provide information about new points in the graduation exam. High School and National University entrance exam 2024 for students and parents of high schools in Dong Nai province. At the same time, share forecasts of human resource needs and future industry development trends, with the social responsibility of bringing businesses closer to students.
Speaking at the opening of this program, Dr. Nguyen Sy Ha - Deputy Director in charge of the branch expressed his joy and welcomed teachers, parents, businesses, students,and pupils from high schools in Dong Nai province who came to participate in the Festival. Dr. Ha affirmed that Vietnam Forestry University, after 60 years of construction and development, is a leading higher education institution in training, providing high-quality human resources, research and development, and transfer, science and technology in the fields of forestry, environmental resources, engineering, technology, economic policy, and management.
VNUF2 was established in 2008 and has entered its 16th year of undergraduate and postgraduate training. With a team of over 200 officials and workers, many of whom are prestigious professors, associate professors, and doctors, the school is constantly striving, dynamic, and creative to build the campus to become a reputable center of education, training, and research, with the motto of well implementing the philosophy: "Practical - Creativity - Responsibility - Efficiency"
VNUF2 Open Day 2024 admission and employment fair takes place with the main contents:
(1) Discussion program with experts about information on new points in the National High School Graduation Exam and University Admissions 2024; Information about VNUF2's admission plan. In addition, representatives of invited businesses also made human resource forecasts and future industry development trends and introduced jobs for school students.
(2) Along with that is the content of the booth exhibition and recruitment interviews of more than 20 businesses participating in the program.
(3) In-depth consulting booths introduce majors and formal university training programs implemented at VNUF2 of specialized faculties in the school.
Also, at the program, VNUF2 organized and awarded many scholarships to help students in difficult circumstances but always have the spirit and determination to study and practice well.
In the current era of the 4th industrial revolution, a high-quality workforce has become the top priority in the search and training of each recruitment unit. At the same time, thousands of students are preparing to complete their university degrees with the desire to devote themselves to their future jobs. Amid that context, the 2024 enrollment and employment fair is connection units that need to expand human resources with VNUF2 students. These is also an opportunity for students at high schools/ continuing education centers to understand more about occupations and working environments, contributing to future career orientation.
VNUF2 Open Day is an important event, which is a place to connect students with the university, helps students gradually become familiar with the university environment as well as creativity the best mindset for them to choose the right major and career that they love. In addition to practical experiences about the landscape, facilities, and practice laboratories. Students also have the opportunity to interact and connect with famous singers and dance groups,etc, and participate in the lucky draw game with many valuable gifts.
