On the morning of November 13, the Vietnam National University of Forestry in Dong Nai province (VNUF2) worked with a delegation of lecturers from the Southwest Forestry University, Kunming- China (SWFU).
Overview of the working session between VNUF2 and SWFU
Attend the working session, on the side of Southwest Forestry University, China, including Mr Guo Hua, Vice Principal, in charge of student affairs, Mr Xu Gaofeng, Head of the Student Affairs Department, Mrs Gu Yue, Deputy Head of the Finance Department, Mr. Li Guoxin, Director of the Institute of Literature and Law, Mrs Li Ya, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Management, Mrs Huang Chen, Head of International Cooperation Department, International Cooperation Department. On the part of VNUF2 leadership, including Dr. Mai Hải Châu – Deputy Director of the Branch together with lecturers- Deputy Head of specialized departments and faculties.

At the meeting, Dr. Mai Hai Chau introduced an overview of VNUF2 and outstanding achievements in training, scientific research, and international cooperation. Since then, many opportunities for cooperation between the two units have opened up.
Mr. Guo Hua - Vice Principal of SWFU shared the potential for cooperation between the two units on: Exchange of students and lecturers; Cooperation in training at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fields of Economics, Society, Wood Industry, Forestry, Resource Management...
Concluding the meeting, the two sides agreed to promote and strengthen training cooperation in the coming time, focusing on 04 contents:
(1) Develop student and lecturer exchange programs;
(2) Collaborate in scientific research;
(3) Providing scholarships for VNUF2 students and lecturers to participate in postgraduate study at SWFU;
(4) Support teaching and building a Chinese language center at VNUF2.
